An extraction device has been investigated for the separation and preconcentration of a series of volatile organic compounds (CHCl3, CHCl2Br, CHClBr2 and CHBr3) in aqueous matrices. The device consisted of a microporous membrane system utilising a hollow fibre tube filled with organic solvent directly immersed into the sample solution. The hollow fibre containing 160 µL organic solvent was immersed in a glass vial with 10 mL capacity, and the extraction took place through diffusive transport between the aqueous sample and the small amount of solvent. For validation of the method, some operational conditions, such as extraction solvent, temperature, stirring rate and separation time, were optimised. Limit of detection was at low ppb levels, with GC-MS analysis under selected ion monitoring (SIM), whereas enrichment factors between 22 and 35 were obtained. Good reproducibility with RSDs between 7.2% and 9.8% and large linear dynamic ranges with R 2 between 0.996 and 0.998 were also achieved. In addition, the performance of the membrane assisted solvent extraction (MASE) system was compared with two existing configurations: a non-porous membrane separation device, as well as with a comparable microporous configuration. The comparison considered the extraction mechanism and the underlying transport processes. The application to real samples showed a good concordance with classical analytical methods.  相似文献

Three new micropeptins, micropeptin KR1030, KR1002 and KR998 and the known microcyclamide GL546A were isolated from the extract of Microcystis sp. bloom material collected in Kabul Reservoir, Israel. The planar structures of the compounds were determined by homonuclear and inverse-heteronuclear 2D-NMR techniques as well as high-resolution mass spectrometry. The absolute configuration of the asymmetric centres of the amino acids was studied using Marfey's method for HPLC. The inhibitory activity of the compounds was determined for the serine proteases: trypsin, chymotrypsin and elastase.  相似文献

The conjunctival bacterial resident and opportunistic flora of dogs may represent a major source of dissemination of pathogens throughout the environment or to other animals and humans. Nevertheless, contamination with bacteria from external sources is common. In this context, the study of the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) pattern may represent an indicator of multidrug resistant (MDR) strains exchange. The present study was focused on a single predisposed breed—Saint Bernard. The evaluated animals were healthy, but about half had a history of ocular disease/treatment. The swabs collected from conjunctival sacs were evaluated by conventional microbiological cultivation and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST). The most prevalent Gram-positive was Staphylococcus spp.; regardless of the history, while Gram-negative was Pseudomonas spp.; exclusively from dogs with a history of ocular disease/treatment. Other identified genera were represented by Bacillus, Streptococcus, Trueperella, Aeromonas and Neisseria. The obtained results suggest a possible association between the presence of mixed flora and a history of ocular disease/treatment. A high AMR was generally observed (90%) in all isolates, especially for kanamycin, doxycycline, chloramphenicol and penicillin. MDR was recorded in Staphylococcus spp. and Pseudomonas spp. This result together with a well-known zoonotic potential may suggest an exchange of these strains within animal human populations and the environment.  相似文献

According to high level calculations, the upper part of the previously published FT-ICR lithium cation basicity (LiCB at 373 K) scale appeared to be biased by a systematic downward shift. The purpose of this work was to determine the source of this systematic difference. New experimental LiCB values at 373 K have been measured for 31 ligands by proton-transfer equilibrium techniques, ranging from tetrahydrofuran (137.2 kJ mol?1) to 1,2-dimethoxyethane (202.7 kJ mol?1). The relative basicities (ΔLiCB) were included in a single self-consistent ladder anchored to the absolute LiCB value of pyridine (146.7 kJ mol?1). This new LiCB scale exhibits a good agreement with theoretical values obtained at G2(MP2) level. By means of kinetic modeling, it was also shown that equilibrium measurements can be performed in spite of the formation of Li+ bound dimers. The key feature for achieving accurate equilibrium measurements is the ion trapping time. The potential causes of discrepancies between the new data and previous experimental measurements were analyzed. It was concluded that the disagreement essentially finds its origin in the estimation of temperature and the calibration of Cook’s kinetic method. Graphical Abstract

Charcoals formed during the thermo-XRD-analysis of montmorillonite (MONT) complexes with the dye 1,4-diaminoanthraquinone (DAAQ) were investigated by using curve-fitting calculations. Five saturated dye solutions were prepared (i) in distilled water and (ii–v) in 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 molar HCl. Two series of dye-clay complexes were prepared by using clay suspensions of 0.6 %and of 0.006 % labeled first and second series, respectively. Five dye-clay complexes were prepared of each series by adding 25 mL of dye solution to 25 mL of clay suspension. There is no free dye in complexes of the first series, but those of the second series, which were synthesized with a high ratio between dye and clay, contain non-adsorbed dye even after five washings. Complexes of the first series are loaded with very small amounts of molecular and protonated DAAQ (5–24 mmol DAAQ per 100 g clay), and their spacings are 1.25–1.54 nm suggesting the presence of tactoids with protonated or molecular DAAQ lying parallel to the clay layers. No carbon analyses were performed to the second series complexes. In addition to tactoids with spacing of 1.32 nm, they contain tactoids with spacings of 1.81–1.96 nm, suggesting that intercalated DAAQ are lying perpendicular to the clay layers. Three types of intercalated charcoal are identified in both series during the thermal analysis, one type with a low thermal stability and two types with high thermal stabilities. Charcoals of the second series complexes preserve the geometry of the original complexes up to high temperatures.  相似文献

Poly(?-caprolactone) grafted poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) functionalized hydroxyapatite (HAP@PHEMA-g-PCL) nanocomposites were synthesized by the combination of reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization and ring-opening polymerization (ROP). The RAFT agent was anchored on the surface of hydroxyapatite nanocrystals (HAPs) through the silane condensation process of 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane followed by reaction with potassium xanthogenate. Poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) was covalently functionalized on the surface of HAPs by RAFT polymerization. Then, poly(?-caprolactone) (PCL) was grafted on HAPs by ROP based on the hydroxyl groups of PHEMA to afford HAP@PHEMA-g-PCL. The structure and composition of HAP@PHEMA-g-PCL nanocomposites were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, and TGA analyses. The morphology and formation of the polymer encapsulating HAPs were demonstrated from SEM and TEM images, while the 1H MNR analysis of the cleaved PHEMA-g-PCL confirmed the grafting.  相似文献

Electroluminescent (EL) properties of Ir(III) complex, [(2,4-diphenylquinoli-ne)]2Iridium picolinic acid N-oxide [(DPQ)2Ir(pic-N-O)] were investigated using PEDOT:PSS and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) as a hole transport layer for solution processable phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (PhOLEDs). High performance solution-processable PhOLED with PEDOT:PSS and (DPQ)2Ir(pic-N-O) (8 wt%) doped CBP:TPD:PBD (8:56:12) host emission layer were fabricated to give a high luminance efficiency (LE) of 26.9 cd/A, equivelent to an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 14.2%. The corresponding PhOLED with rGO as a hole transport layer exhibited the maximum brightness and LE of 13540 cd/m2 and 16.8 cd/A, respectively. The utilization of the solution processable rGO thin films as the hole transport layer offered the great potential to the fabrication of solution processable PhOLEDs.  相似文献
